Christmas 2008
We had a wonderful Christmas and were very blessed this year. The kids were so excited and really made it a wonderful time for me seeing there happy little faces. The boys got "big wheels" this year. A special thanks to Aunt Norma and Uncle Bill for the amazing presents they got for the entire family. We sooo look forward to their huge box they send every year. You guys really out did yourselves. Nestor and I really appreciate it!!! Thanks to the rest of you that always take the time to remember my children. No matter how small or big it really touches my heart that you remember my family at one of the busiest times of the year. Happy Holidays!!!
Wild Lights 2008
We went to the Living Desert to see the lights for Christmas. It was very beautiful and put me in a very Christmasy mood. I became a member at the Living Desert (zoo) so I got some free passes. We went to one of the shows about some of the animals and the boys really enjoyed themselves. As we were leaving the show area I told the boys we need to hold hands so I would not loose them in the crowd. Sammy took a hold of a women's hands and told her that it was very dark out here. The women looked at me and said, " I love this!!" Sammy let her hand go and told her to be careful. It was precious!!! They have a super huge train display with trains running and grown men as the train masters. We did see a derailment which Jacob enjoyed watching the train master getting the train back on track. After two hours of pushing the boys around the train display my calves and wrists were killing me. What we do for our children. OK, the bailey's and coffee helped me keep going.

Thanksgiving
We had a full house for Thanksgiving and I was so excited to have it at my house this year. I even bought new china for the occasion. The table looked beautiful. Thanks to Aunt Norma for cooking a beautiful dinner with lots of yummy left overs. Of course, Richard was in charge of the 26lbs turkey and he did a beautiful job as well. It was fun playing Scrabble with Mom and Aunt Norma. We have so many reasons to be thankful and of course we missed and thought of the family that were not with us this holiday. Of course we gossiped about all of you. LOL!!

Pow Wow
Jacob had a Pow Wow at school. It was a lot of fun. Nestor is so creative. He painted Jacob's face and Jacob's class and the other mommies were so impressed with Nestor's creativity. Natasha had her daddy paint her cheeks for school also. I just love the pic of Jacob in his full indian get up. Isn't he adorable!!!

Halloween
Halloween was a blast. Jacob had a carnival at school which Nestor and I attended. Nestor was a ham as usual. No one recognized Jacob whom was called Mr. Bones. Samuel refused to wear a costum so he wore an "incredibles" t-shirt and a cape. I did make cupcakes for his class. Samuel was a riot trick a treating. We had to talk to each person for about 3-5 minutes as Sammy talked and asked questions like: What is your name? Where did you get your decorations? He would also ask for more candy which he got from everyone he asked. No shortage of candy in their bags. OK, the chocolates are mine. While we were trick a treating Sammy told me, "Mommy, this is fun!!" We later went to the Waldo's and Sammy told the kids, "Come I will show you where the candy is!!" Jacob like to hit the button that made fog as the kids approached the house. I really enjoyed this Halloween with my monsters!!

My Heart Has Been Touched
Just a short little story. I help out Jacob's class every Tuesday. Natasha has half day on Tuesdays so she goes with me. Well this last Tuesday I was telling Natasha that when we walk into the class to be discreet. We walk in and Jacob yells, "There's my sissy!" So much for discretion. The letter for the week in Jacob's class is "N". So it was share time and Jacob held up his hand and told his teacher that he wanted to share his sister. So Natasha goes and stands next to her brother holding hands in front of his class. He said, " This is my sister. She is eleven years old. She likes to play with me and I love her." I got misty eyed. It was so sweet. It touched my heart. His teacher then asked, "What is your sister's name?" Jacob replied, "Sissy". Teacher asked, "What is her first name?" Jacob said he forgot and Natasha told the class her name and it starts with a "N". It was priceless!!!
First Tee
We are at the open house at the first Tee. The boys are going to learn how to play golf since neither Nestor or I know how to play golf. They are so cute I can barley stand it.

Samuel's 4th Birthday
We had a party for Sammy at his school. We had pizza and chocolate cake. Mom was busted eating cake. It was sooo good!! His theme was Transformers. Nestor entertained the children and the teachers. Nestor the clown. Daddy missed his calling as a preschool teacher or playmate. Samuel's classmates got a balloon and a goodie bag. We also decorated the car with window paint. It had "Happy Birthday Sammy" all over the windows (no pics). It was really cool! Nestor loved all the honking and attention we got in the car. My baby is four!!! Now Samuel's teacher knows why Sammy's is the way he is. Sammy's is a mini-Nestor.
