Tee Ball

Jacob really wanted to play baseball and now he is old enough to play tee ball. There are some boys who played last season and are really good. There is also girls on his team which they are called the "TIGERS". Coach Swift works with them on all positions. Jacob is focused and tries very hard. A teammate got smacked in the face with a ball. So glad, it was not Jacob. It is so fun watching Jacob enjoy playing tee ball. I can't wait for Sammy to be in another sport (soccer) and enjoy it.

Birthday Dinner/ Valentines Day

I did a rookie move. We went to our local favorite restaurant on Valentines for Jacob's birthday dinner with Aunt Norma and Uncle Bill. The Crabpot was very busy but, we occupied the boys until we were sat about 20 minutes later. Jacob always get a bucket of clams. "Yes,"I said, "CLAMS". You would think a manager would remember a 5yr. old now, six yr. old ordering them every time we go to the restaurant but, No that would mean a little customer service recognition. OK, I get a little tifted about being a loyal customer and being treated like I am just passing through. Anyways, we had a specialty which they put a pile of mussels, clams, crab legs, sausage, corn, and red potatoes in the middle of the table. It was fun and tasted great. I would really like to return and take Nestor to the Crabpot. I hope they work on their customer recognition and not charge for a scoop of birthday ice cream. We really did enjoy the food and being together. The company was great as usual!!!!

MATCHBOX 20

Nestor is the bomb!!! He got Norma and I second row seats to a sold out show. Norma and I both really like Matchbox 20 and I wanted to go with her to the concert. Uncle Bill rocks because he watched the boys so Norma and I could go to the concert. It was a blast!!! Of course, Norma danced through the entire concert. It was a really great show. Lots of eye contact and intense feelings of truly enjoying what they do. After the concert Norma and I were at the bar (Yea, Yea) and another concert goer said, "Hey, I saw you dancing on the teleprompter" Norma 15 seconds of fame.

Valentines Day for Jacob

Jacob's class on Valentines. His teacher is Ms. McDuffie. It was a very fun day.
They made these cute headbands for Valentines and Jacob wore his for the next few days. It was precious.

Jacob and his friend Owen. They both are at the First Tee and both have birthday in February.

I sooo enjoy going to Jacob's school and helping out with all these fun events and holidays. I can't believe I am actually writing about how happy I am at being a Mom. Sammy is also celebrating in his class and giving his teacher a few good laughs. He is our joker. I wonder where he gets that from? Hummmmm

Couple of pics of the boys at breakfast. Today they are celebrating Valentines early because of the Presidents holiday weekend. They are sooo excited!!! Of course, we are feeding them donuts to give them a sugar high. We signed all of our Valentines Day cards and decorated 50 mini cupcakes for the celebration.

Tina and I were talking about footsie pj and how her girls still wore them for christmas. I found some at Target and got them for the boys. They look sooo cute in them. I remember them as babies in footsie pj. In a couple of years or less they will not even let me buy them some footsie pj. Are they adorable!!!

Fishing

Boys! Boys! Boys! They love fishing!! One of Sammy's favorite toys is to pretend he has caught a big one for Mommy. Nestor and Jacob are the true die hard fishermen. Sammy and I will be doing other activities. I rather poke my eyes out than sit and fish all day.

ROY'S

We have friends who are brave enough to take our entire family out to a very nice restaurant. We went to Roy's for dinner and I have to say that "Yea, We can finally go out to a real restaurant and our children behave!!!" I have been waiting for this day!!! Sammy can do it!! Yea, Yea, I went red and short. I needed a change for god sakes. It has taken me awhile to work with short hair but I think I might be catching on. Look for future photo opts.
